Privacy Policy
Effective: 2026-06-09
LookSwapMe is a mobile photo and video editor that lets adults (18+) test hairstyles, apply style effects, and create AI-powered edits from photos they select. This page explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and your choices. If anything here conflicts with applicable platform rules, including Google Play policies, those platform rules control.
- We do not run third-party ads inside the app.
- We may offer auto-renewing subscriptions and one-time in-app purchases such as credit packs.
- We use analytics, purchase, messaging, and attribution SDKs to understand app performance, manage access to paid features, and improve the app.
- We send optional push notifications only where permitted by your device settings.
- Photos and videos are processed only when you choose or upload them for an app feature. For cloud AI features, selected content may be transmitted securely for processing and is not used to train our models.
Information we collect
- Photos & videos you select: We only access media that you choose in the app or capture through an app feature. Some edits may be performed on your device, while AI photo or video generation features may require secure server processing. When server processing is used, we transmit selected content over TLS, process it only to provide the requested feature, and do not use it to train models. We do not access your gallery without your action.
- Purchase & subscription status: We receive purchase tokens, receipts, product identifiers, subscription status, renewal status, and entitlement information through Google Play and our purchase provider. We do not receive your full payment card details.
- Device & app data: Device model, Android version, app version/build, language/locale, time zone, crash logs, performance data, in-app events (for example, opening the editor or starting a purchase flow), and app-scoped identifiers. IP address may be used to infer approximate location such as country or region for analytics, fraud prevention, security, and tax compliance.
- Identifiers for attribution: Where available and permitted by your Android settings, we may use the Android Advertising ID to measure campaigns, prevent fraud, and improve attribution. You can reset or delete this identifier in your Android privacy or ads settings, depending on your device and Android version.
- Push notification token: If notifications are enabled, Google/Firebase and our messaging provider assign a device token so we can deliver messages such as feature tips, reminders, or service updates. You can disable notifications in Android settings at any time.
- Support communications: If you contact us by email, we process your message, email address, and any information you provide so we can respond to your request.
