Privacy Policy
Effective: 2025-10-15
LookSwapMe is a mobile photo editor that lets adults (18+) test hairstyles and apply style effects to their photos. This page explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and your choices. If anything here conflicts with platform rules (like Apple’s policies), platform rules control.
- We do not run third‑party ads inside the app.
- We offer an auto‑renewing subscription.
- We use analytics and attribution SDKs to understand app performance and subscriptions.
- We send optional push notifications (you can turn them off in iOS Settings).
- Photo editing occurs on your device by default. If a cloud feature is used, we ask before upload and delete the image after processing (see “Photos & Videos”).
Information we collect
- Photos & Videos you select: Images you choose for editing remain on your device. If a specific feature requires server processing, we will clearly ask for consent before upload, transmit the image over TLS only for that feature, do not use it to train models. We do not access your camera roll without your action.
- Purchase & subscription status: We receive purchase receipts and subscription state (active, trial, renewal date) via Apple and our purchase provider (see “SDKs we use”). We do not receive your full payment card details.
- Device & app data: Device model, OS version, app version/build, language/locale, time zone, crash logs, performance data, in‑app events (e.g., open editor, start trial), and an app‑scoped identifier (IDFV). IP address may infer approximate location (country/region) for analytics, fraud prevention, and tax compliance.
- Identifiers for attribution: With your permission, we may access Apple’s Advertising Identifier (IDFA) to measure campaigns and reduce fraud. On iOS this requires the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt; you can decline.
- Push notification token: If you enable notifications, Apple and our messaging provider assign a device token so we can deliver messages (e.g., feature tips, subscription reminders). You can disable notifications anytime in iOS Settings.
- Support communications: If you email us, we process your message and contact details.
How we use information
- Provide core photo editing features and app functionality.
- Run subscriptions, free trials, and purchase restoration.

- Comply with law and enforce our Terms.
